Heyyy!

My name is Mackenzie, but most people call me Mac. I’m a wedding, couple, and family photographer- passionate about capturing your story. I am committed to ensuring that you can be fully present and relaxed during your sessions.  I could go on for a while about how I am dedicated to creating a session experience that’s fun and reflects who you are as a family.   I could talk your ear off about why I love photographing people and capturing genuine emotion; BUT first, let me tell you a little bit more about myself.

How do I serve you? 

 Your session should be as stress free as possible, I know sounds impossible right? I get the craziness of toddlers; and little ones. I say EMBRACE it. All sessions are directed by me, but led by your kiddos. I'll give you simple and easy prompts and directions full of movement and fun- your kids can take what I say and run with it.

With me as your photographer I want to help minimize that stress and maximize you enjoying your session. How can I help with that? 

1. I focus on giving clear direction and connecting with you and your family. You shouldn’t be worried about getting that perfect "smile", you should be engaged in the moment with your littles. 
2. During the planning process I am always just an email, or phone call away if you have any questions.  I help you pick your session location, and send an outfit guide to help you choose your clothes. 
3. I am okay with the meltdowns. The craziness of a zoomy toddler, the messiness of a little baby puke. I get it! With 14 siblings and 18 nieces and nephews I have had a lot of kid experience.

I have eight brothers and six sisters. I’m smack dab in the middle of them all, seven above & seven below.  I grew up in a small town on a hobby farm, with lots of chickens, rabbits, and about any other small critter you can think up. I love ice skating and can be pretty competitive in pond hockey. Growing up my siblings and I always had some sort of small business running- whether that be selling donuts, breeding rabbits or having a table of homemade goodies at the farmers market, we are all very entrepreneurial. I love love and can't get enough of peoples love stories. I got married at 19 and am happily married with 2 dogs.
