I’m Mac. Professional photographer and romantic with over nine years of experience behind the lens and in the wedding industry. This means, no matter the situation, I’ve got your back. And after growing up on a farm with eight brothers and seven sisters…. trust me when I say, I know how to corral a crowd. I know how to be just the right amount of bossy to get the groomsmen in line, how to organize the flow of hair and makeup and dresses, and how to capture all the family photos so efficiently you’ll almost think we skipped that part! Plus, I’m really good with kids; the smiles I can coax out will light up a room.As a new wife and mother, I know how quickly time passes by and how almost seamlessly the seasons of life shift and change. One minute your doe-eyed and hoping to simply brush your fingertips against his and the next your showing off your engagement ring with a heart full of a new, forever kind of love. Getting your photos taken isn’t a natural thing, BUT at every session I create an environment where you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves! Allow me to guide and direct you throughout your intimate day. I’ll make a space where you can be in the moment- and have fun!

Documentary style, to me, means a photo untouched. It’s being able to tell what happened before the photo was taken. It’s moving, it’s human-it’s perfect in its own unperfect way. I document your day by remaining hands off during the intimate times, I simply capture moments as they happen. I will never interrupt you to get that ‘perfect’ shot and I’ll photograph them in a way that let’s you re-visit that moment in five years.
